Safety first! Well made item. If you’re running a suicide door on an older style vehicle that doesn't use a more modern latch type, it's a must. Mine are installed on a 1936 Ford Model 67 pickup which use a simple sliding slant retracting bolt that secures behind a piece of steel welded on the inside of the door frame. The retracting bolt gives a great piece of mind.
