Installation is simple! Follow our easy instructions to remove and/or insert a key blank.
At 90˚ open in the key’s range of motion, you will see a small screw. Loosen this screw and insert your key blank, then tighten screw. To rotate key blank slot when no blank is in the slot, insert a small flathead screwdriver in the slot, push the FlipKey button, and rotate to the appropriate angle.
No. This FlipKey does not include a circuit board or chip inside.
You can take the internal electronics (immobilizer/transponder chip) from your original remote and place them in this key shell. Modification may be required.
No. This Flip Key does not include keyless entry and does not come with a transponder / electronic chip inside. The buttons will not be functional unless upgraded.
